Bruno's research area's are:
1) The effects of (sports) injuries on the brain and its interactions with fatigue during rehabilitation (return-to-sport)
2) The effects of fatigue on the injury risk profile (with inclusion of the brain) in the context of primary sports injury prevention

A better understanding of the interactions of the brain, sports injuries and fatigue could lead to new and better treatment strategies in clinical practice and a more effective and safer return to sport.

Jo his research area's are:
1) The effects of fatigue on the injury risk profile (with inclusion of the brain) in the context of primary sports injury prevention
2) The effects of (sports) injuries on the brain and its interactions with fatigue during rehabilitation (return-to-sport)

Jo combines research and work experience in the field of sport physiotherapy. He works in a private practice specialised sport physiotherapy and orthopaedic rehabilitation. His research focusses on injury prevention, fatigue, performance and return-to-sport and he has experience in elite sports including  the Belgium volleybal & national hockeyteam.
